Towersey Festival

Image

When I was two, I was nearly new.

September was a busy month. Lindy drove Mum and Lorna down to the west country for a holiday and diverted to the Old Candle Factory on the way home. Mums first visit!! It coincided with the Towersey Folk Festival, held every August bank holiday. Yes, I know august isn't in september. This is a blog and therefore full of deliberate mistakes to keep you on your toes. Everybody behave like hippies for 4 days and immerse themselves in all things F O L K . I was no exception and I will try and post pictures which hopefully speak louder than words.

When I was one, I'd just begun.

2008 has seen me help my 'secret garden' come alive. I bought the derelict ground between my garden and Waitrose car park and set about attacking the brambles. It had been a garden in a previous life, but it took alot of hard work to discover it. But discover it I did, and today shared runner beans, beetroot and tomatos with Dan. Elsewhere you'll find potatos, radishes, lettuce, spring onions, peas, courgettes( which have grown into enormous marrows!) carrots, and some I've forgotten.
